What is the radius you cover in Sheffield?
I live on the outskirts of Nether Edge (S7). I drive to my cat visits, so I am used to commuting across the city.
However, I do have to take into consideration travel time and fuel costs for longer distances. Therefore, I have put together the following guide to the postcodes that I can cover for no extra travel charge, and the postcodes which will need an small travel charge added. This will be discussed prior to your booking too, of course – there’ll be no surprises!
No additional charge: S7, S8, S10, S11, S12, S14, S17
Additional charge of £0.50 per visit: S1*, S2*, S3*, S18
Additional charge of £1 per visit: S4, S5, S6, S9, S13, S20, S21
If your postcode is not listed here, please still feel free to request a booking in case there is still something I can do to help.
*Please note that these postcodes often cost to park in, so depending on your area we may need to discuss a small additional cost to contribute to parking charges.
What is a meet & greet?
A meet & greet is a short chat in your home, typically around 15-30 minutes long. Here you can have a chance to meet me and ask any questions you may have, and I can introduce myself to your cat/s in their familiar environment.
Meet & greets are free, and there is no obligation to book afterwards!
After the meet & greet, I will send a Google form over which requests various information I’ll need for my visit (including feeding regime, emergency contact, litter tray locations etc). This just needs to be completed prior to your booking.
I have more than one cat – is this okay?
This is more than okay! I have extensive experience looking after multiple cats, ranging from 1 to 5 – I have personally had 4 cats in my own home too, so it is something I am extremely comfortable with.
There’s no difference in price for multi-cat households either.
My cat requires medication – can you accommodate this?
Absolutely! I have experience administering both liquid and tablet medications orally, as well as spot-on flea & worm prevention.
If your cat dose require medication, please ensure to mention this prior to the meet & greet so we can discuss it in more detail and ideally have a demonstration of you administering this medication to your cat.
How will you access our home?
Normally, I am given a spare key which I then return at the end of the booking by posting through your letterbox. If you have an alternative plan in mind though, that should be absolutely fine – just let me know.
Are you insured as a pet sitter?
Absolutely. I have pet business insurance with ‘Brooks Braithwaite’.
